Truth and Lies About Why We Buy by Martin Lindstrom

Book: Buyology: Truth and Lies About Why We Buy by Martin Lindstrom

Rating: Good

Lesson Learned: Enter into the subconscious

If you are a conspiracy nut this book might interest you because you can draw all sorts of conclusions about what neuromarketing can do. I think the book is a good explanation of why we do the things we do on an instinctual animalistic level. The best story in the book is an examination of smokers who are stimulated by seeing warning signs on cigarette packs rather than grossed out. This is too simplistic an explanation to do the book justice. This is another marketing book worth having.
