BIO
Benjamin Roberts had his first experience with entrepreneurship when he was five. He woke up early one Saturday morning, sneaked out of the house, and—with his little red wagon in tow—he marched up and down his street collecting the recently delivered newspapers from his neighbors’ front yards. The plan was to collect all of the papers he could find and then sell them for ten dollars each. He had just finished gathering the last newspaper in the neighborhood when his mom came outside to find where her son had gone. Needless to say, she stopped the entire operation and he was forced to go door to door to apologize and return the inventory.
Fast forward 16 years. After graduating from New York University with a B.A. in International Development, Ben spent five years in the corporate world. He has extensive experience in business development, finance, management, marketing, sales, and operations. Through this experience Ben learned what it takes to build a strong organization, eventually starting several of his own businesses.
Ben is also involved in extending the global discourse on cross-cultural cooperation through his work with Terana- an organization that brings young professionals from the Middle East and West together.
He is currently an MBA Business Development candidate at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and consults small organizations and individuals on growth and brand management.
